I wish Amazon had a system of notifications for e-books, the same as they do for pre-orders. You can get notified by email when a book or DVD currently without a release date becomes available for pre-order; it would be so useful if they did the same thing for books currently without an e-book version ( Read more... )

My brother gave me my birthday present early today - early, because he wanted to be sure I didn't go out and buy myself one before my actual birthday.

He bought me a Kindle! I really wasn't expecting that. He's too good to me.
